Bill's down in the ohana snoozing and I'm off shortly for a massage... life is good for sure. This is our second time in Puna and just really love the pace and the sense of being apart from civilization, don't get that experience too often as hectic as our lives can get. I love the quiet, birds chirping and as I'm writing this I'm sitting on the couch looking out the window over the tree tops at the silvery ocean as the daylight starts to fade and the Puna corner of the world begins to quiet... it does not get much better. "Thanks for the slice of paradise. A perfect respite to decompress. I treasure my memories of moonlight on the ocean, surf slamming the cliffs at the point outside of Kalani, and the best Mango in my life from the Hilo Farmers' Market. Be sure to schedule a massage at the Kalani resort, and check out the tide pools for snorkeling where I saw everything from sea turtles to sting rays. The area is so wonderfully wild and unpolluted.
